Wooden Mirror

May 15th, 2008 FunForever

Till now I thought a wooden mirror is something stupid and that it would never world as a mirror. I thought it would look like a piece of plywood in a nice frame but Daniel Rozen proved me wrong. He designed a wooden mirror from 830 small wooden panels controlled by a computer and connected to a small camera communicating with hundreds of tiny motors. To display dark parts the mirror uses dark brown sides of the panels and for light parts light sides of the panels are used. I think this idea is totally awesome, useless but awesome. There is a video to give you a better idea of how the mirror works

Rather than a mirror, it is more like the Leonardo DaVinci “TV”
