I just love then ads make you go “Wow! This is so cool” Well, here are just that kind of ads. These knives are so sharp you can make sculptures from fruits and vegetables with them at least that’s what the ads imply. These carvings definetly look great – but real? i dont think so- The shadows and highlights plus detail of the figures are to defined. The only ones that could have had me convinced are the 1st and 3rd of the closeups – as they have the texture and fuzzyness that carved fruit and veg. would have… The only problem is that the 1st being a pumpkin and the strawberry as well have a core of softer and lighter meats that couldnt stand such delicate carvings.. the last four in particular look like they were made in photoshop.. BUT its a great gimik and a fantastic idea- not to mention the work it took to make them look so realistically “fake”.
