Uncle Scrooge’s Money Bin

October 29th, 2007 FunForever

Do you remember an old cartoon “Duck Tales”and a character Uncle Scrooge? Well, here is a model of Uncle Scrooge’s money bin. Don Rosa and Dan Shane designed it. Their designs inspired a fan, Matt Gullikstad to created a scale model of the bin. The details are amazing, it has 250 chairs and 250 desks, the windows are made of glass, the door to the vault has a turning wheel and all the “coins” are individually cut. I don’t know how long it too Matt to make the model, all i know he did an outstanding job.

This is a beautiful thing. When I saw the first photo, I thought it was the real deal. I almost went on a pilgrimmage to go visit it. Good thing I looked at the whole article.

This is absolutely amazing! I can’t believe the amount of detail, it’s brilliant.
