What is a blob? Many things, really. Starting with a mostrous creature and a thing everyone owns in their homes.
What if there are many blobs? It could probably look like this:
These speech bubbles are the work of Philippe Parreno. The bubbles are made of mylar and helium and exhibited in Paris.
Studio Make Light is functioning since 2004 with a vision to take lighting out of the light. There are two Light Makers: Minsang Cho and Sam Liu. More of their great blob lightning works can be viewed here.

This is PTW‘s National Swimming Center for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. This construction is known as the “Watercube”, it has organic bubble structure, but you certainly see that yourself.
