Tesla X-Mas Tree
December 3rd, 2007 FunForever
Peter a 1st year uni physics dropout from Australia have constructed this strange and cool Christmas tree. On it’s own it’s just a steel frame, which by the way looks nothing like tree. It all changes when you hook up a Tesla generator to it.
Peter strung a rope between two tree to take photos of the Tesla coil from above.

This is the first star which Peter tested. It wasn’t all that he hoped and decided to use the frame method.

This is a final design of the tree.

This is a very cool idea. I have seen a demo of a Tesla coil on youtube but nothing like this. Is there a video of this yet?

Yes, a video would be pretty cool!
Wasn’t that very dangerous?
