Styrobots

July 7th, 2008 FunForever

Michael Salter is an associate professor of digital arts at the University of Oregon and he is the creator of these robot sculptures. The robots are called styrobots because they are made of polystyrene. Michael’s biggest creation is 22 feet tall which is accompanied by smaller styrobots. It took him the whole winter to make the parts of these robots and then glue them together too ad that his works don’t last long, they are destroyed soon after showing.
