Stirling Engines

Stirling engines contain working gas which is permanently sealed into the system, there’s no valves and no gas leaves or enters the engine. The gas inside goes though 4 processes: cooling, compression, heating and expansion. This is accomplished by moving the gas back and forth between hot and cold heat exchangers.
