Lord of the Rings would envy this collection of cool rings. Yeah well, perhaps, the cool part is not exactly what Tolkien meant, anyway – feast your eyes, ladies!

Alyssa Dee Krauss old style ticket rings.

Pippa Knowles Barcode collection

This is a ring to substitute diamonds, around 90 bucks each. Developed by Yuho Fukuhara, a graduate of Tokyo’s Hiko Mizuno College of Jewellery.

Square slices that rotate and slide by UK designer James Newman

Folded metal plates can also be rings! By Dutch jeweler Suzanne Esser.

Another Dutch artist – Ineke Otte, grass is greener on his rings.

Sarah Chilton makes rings with animals inside. Sweet!
