BacVac

Here’s a neat new design for a vacuum cleaner. Why should we drag parts of the vacuum cleaner around the house all the time when we can wear them on our backs. This way they won’t get in the way. By the way have you noticed that the most dirtiest spot on the floor is always under the vacuum cleaner and you have to move it out of the way to vacuum that spot but as soon as you do the next dirtiest spot is once again under the vacuum. It’s so irritating. But onto the BacVac. It is powered by a fuel cell which means that there’s also no wires. To power the BacVac you’ll need to pour some ethanol and chemistry will do the rest. This is only a concept and the fuel cell technology is still to expensive to compete with regular vacuum cleaners. For now we are stuck with our regular vc’s

Kit-In Box

The one who thought of this is a genius. I have a cat and sometimes when I’m using the PC at home he comes and lies either in front of the keyboard or on it. This doesn’t irritate me much and I also don’t want to shoo him away but you can’t do anything when he is on the keyboard. The box attaches to the table or it can be placed on it either way the you have a place to put your cat. The Kit-In Box costs $49.99 the link is below.

Prehistoric Mouse

I don’t think this mouse is very comfortable to use nor what was the creator smoking when he created it but what I do know is it looks great and I’d love to see more computer parts made the same way. I bet the monitor would look very creepy. It would be awesome if the designer would make it glow in the dark.

Chanel Choco Phone

The new concept cell phone labeled Chanel Choco Phone was designed by Fred de Garilhe. It works by integrating optical fibers system that displays an image between to glass parts. This keeps the concept as light as possible. I’m not a big fan of cell phones and rarely like the new releases but this one I find very interesting. Hope they’ll put it into production

Otto the Greek Ear

Every object, every surface has a sound, a whisper that is not detectable by the human ear. Otto (greek for ear) makes these hidden sounds audible. You can position otto to almost any surface you want. I personally haven’t a clue how a glass window or a table sounds but it would be cool to find out. Or maybe it can be used to listen through walls, you know like putting a plastic cup to you hear, that would be fun.

Steampunk Webcam

A webcam is always useful to have around you can take photos make videos and webcalls. What I find great about this webcam is the amazing design and that is also a lamp and you can adjust the light brightness. It can take 1.3 mega pixel photos and shoot 640×480 videos at 30 fps. Another great thing about it is that it’s driverless, all you have to do is plug it in and it only costs $12. Looks like streampunk is catching on becoming more available.
