WOW! SteelSeries and Blizzard have unveiled a mouse made especially for World of Warcraft. First thing first, It looks amazing, if aliens used mice with their computers I’m sure this is how we would picture them. Now comes the function part. The mouse has 15 programmable buttons. 15! That’s more then I used for the whole game including moving around but I understand that for PvP you need to have lots of buttons you can quickly push and not take your eyes off the screen. Also, you can choose what color the mouse will glow. You can chose from 16 million colors. A bit overkill but may keep the player busy while he’s in queue for the next battleground. One last thing, the mouse will be on sale on November 13, the same date when the Wrath of the Lich King comes out and will cost $90

This phone was designed by Londoner Arthur Schmitt and it’s just awesome. The phone is so inefficient, so bulky, such a pain to handle and all these things make the phone even better. Among all the inefficiencies, which makes this phone so cool, one stands out the most - you need to use punch cards and binary phone numbers to control your phone’s features and make calls. Isn’t it just the coolest gadget ever?

Microsoft has unveiled its new mouse that uses brand new technology - Blue Track. This technology allows the mouse to work on almost any surface giving it the advantage over laser and optical mice. This technology is good news for people who use mice with laptops. For desktops it doesn’t matter which mouse to use, all work great on tables and pads.

Touch Sight is a revolutionary digital camera that was designed Chueh Lee, Liqing Zou, Ning Xu, Saiyou Ma, Dan Hu, Fengshun Jiang and Zhenhui Sun for blind people to take photos. Yes, I know how it sounds but the idea is very interesting. The camera records 3 seconds of sound before the picture was taken and displays it on a lightweight, flexible braille. The image is embossed on the surface of the braille so the user can touch it. The sound is can be used as reference when viewing or reviewing the photo.
During the research it was discovered that the best place for a blind person to stabilize the camera is the forehead.
This is a brilliant concept I just hope it goes into production and it won’t be very expensive.

We’ve all seen the new (not anymore) type of alarm clocks which you have to chase or put together a puzzle to turn it off. This, however, is a different type of alarm clock. The Silence alarm clock, designed by Johan Brengesjo, does not make any noise to wake you, instead you put on a rubber band when you go to sleep and it starts to vibrate at the set time. To snooze the band you’ll need to shake your hand. But the band will begin vibrating again and you’ll have to shake your hand harder this time to snooze it. This will wake you up more effectively than an ordinary and sometimes very annoying alarm.

I’ve seen quite a few of moddings some of them were kitchen appliances but the toaster modding is a first for me. Jonathan Kimak made this toaster into a fully functional computer with a 3.6 GHz processor, DVD-rom and even a router. Too bad it doesn’t make toasts anymore

Flee is a tossable digital camera that allows you to take pictures from the air. The flee is linked with your cell phone via bluetooth. When thrown the camera starts taking pictures with the set interval and these photos are sent to you cell phone using the bluetooth signal. I’m not sure how many tosses would this flee survive but , however I find this idea very interesting. With the flee you can take very cool, unusual pictures.
