Mike Stimpson’s LEGO

As Mike Stimpson write in his profile he like to take many pictures of LEGO. Here we have some old famous photos and some LEGO recreations. I think this is a fantastic idea with a great number of possible arrangements. The best part is you can use any toys not just LEGO.

Steampunk Rocket Car

This is not the type of car you expect to see on the streets of LA yet it is there it was spotted. As you can see the car has many thingies here and there plus a big propeller in the rear. I would love to see it in motion but there is no video yet, furthermore the car is not yet finishes, it has no seats.

Juicy Sculptures

It took thousands of oranges to make these very juicy sculptures. Too bad organic sculptures don’t last long. Soon after assembly they start to decompose and smell very bad. I’m getting hungry just by looking at them and thirsty when I think about orange juice.

Microwave Modding

This is a very cool, I mean hot PC case. At first I even though it was a microwave with a keyboard. This PC case with a built-in monitor looks fantastic too bad the microwave isn’t working anymore.

Custom Mailboxes

You don’t see mailboxes like these everyday. The people were not satisfied with their mailboxes and decided to make them a little more special. My personal favorite is the beer keg it got style and personality of the owner.

Make your own arc reactor

These photos will help you make your own arc reactor just like in the movie.
First you’ll need materials: plastic, LEDs, plywood and some wire. Here are some pictures to show you the process.

Take a round piece of plywood and glue the LEDs

Next you’ll need a mold. You can heat the plastic with kettle water and pour it in the mold. Then cover the whole thing with another piece of plywood.

The next step is to ad some details.

Here’s what you end up with.

Follow the link for more detailed information.
