Till now I thought a wooden mirror is something stupid and that it would never world as a mirror. I thought it would look like a piece of plywood in a nice frame but Daniel Rozen proved me wrong. He designed a wooden mirror from 830 small wooden panels controlled by a computer and connected to a small camera communicating with hundreds of tiny motors. To display dark parts the mirror uses dark brown sides of the panels and for light parts light sides of the panels are used. I think this idea is totally awesome, useless but awesome. There is a video to give you a better idea of how the mirror works
Here’s a neat new design for a vacuum cleaner. Why should we drag parts of the vacuum cleaner around the house all the time when we can wear them on our backs. This way they won’t get in the way. By the way have you noticed that the most dirtiest spot on the floor is always under the vacuum cleaner and you have to move it out of the way to vacuum that spot but as soon as you do the next dirtiest spot is once again under the vacuum. It’s so irritating. But onto the BacVac. It is powered by a fuel cell which means that there’s also no wires. To power the BacVac you’ll need to pour some ethanol and chemistry will do the rest. This is only a concept and the fuel cell technology is still to expensive to compete with regular vacuum cleaners. For now we are stuck with our regular vc’s
Today I have come across one of the most amazing videos and made by Blu and I just had to post it. It was made shot by shot and I can’t imagine how long and how much work it took to make it. I’m sure you’ll like it. I also got some sketches and street art shots form their website. The link to Blu’s website is below the video. Enjoy

It has been some time since I’ve posted graffiti photos here. I’ve decided to change that and got some shots together. And as luck would have it I came across the orange mice and the monster bowl aka swimming pool graffiti which I think is pure genius. Enjoy the collection.
Who says guns shouldn’t be pink with a big label Gucci or Chanel on it. These were designed by Peter Gronquist who resides in Oakland California. I personally like designer chainsaws. If you are going to be cutting down trees, why not do it in style? I can picture the lumberjack now, all in pink with a chainsaw from Gucci
Absent Nature is the exhibition of designer Arik Levy at Wright20, New York, Chicago. The exhibition included Fractal clouds and Log series. The fractals clouds are made of thousands of light tubes one of my favorite materials. The tubes were made into one light-emitting textile. And the Log series are made of blackened wood, mirror-polished stainless steel and stainless steel mesh giving a sense of weight and raw power derived from forms of nature. Check out his website for more of his work
Look creepy don’t they? Well it must be all the bones that make them so scary looking but they are not all bone, parts of them are metal and fur (real or not I can’t say) I Like the modification the author has made to the bird, the second head looks great. I think these would look wonderful on the fireplace or in the guest room.
