China Lantern Festival
After a lunar new year China celebrates the lantern festival. It falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month. The main attraction of the festival are of course the lanterns but there are also riddle games, stilt walkers and other performances. This year the Olympic Games, which China is hosting, has been a major theme. The lantern festival is a very colorful event which bring people from all over the country.
