There are full-sized glass tables, coffee tables, small glass tables, bar stools, and chairs. Imagine this furniture in your living room at night… It can give you nightmares.

Naoto Hattori website offers a selection of striking and astonishing pictures. The artworks are creative and some are just creepy. These kind of pictures would look great with a modern interior where the shape of furniture is more like the shapes and curves in the picture. I’m not talking about an interior with lots of triangles, squares, rounds and corners.

Rice field art in the country of the rising sun. Each year these guys make new images on their field by planting rice in different patterns making various images. They use different sorts of rice for color. The result is amazing as you can see. It’s a pity they only last as long as it’s time to harvest the rice.

Mermaid Island is a project to construct a building resembling an island on water. This type of structure can be build almost anywhere. However, I think that the residents of the island would prefer the island to be in warm, tropical waters, where it would be warn and sunny.

Maurycy Gomulicki is a polish artist who just loves the pink color and considers it a cultural phenomenon. His project is called “Pink Not Dead” and he hopes to further explore the pink culture. Things painted pink provoke different reactions, some think that pink is cheap and tasteless, others think it to be fashionable and stylish. Here is a collection of stuff gone pink. World’s Biggest Chocolate Fountain
The record holding chocolate fountain is located in Las Vegas, inside Bellagio. With the hight of 27 feet, it’s the biggest chocolate fountain in the world. The fountain is filled with 2100 pounds of dark, milk and white chocolate. If you are thinking of going to Vegas and getting your head into the fountain for some chocolate action you’re out of luck, cause the fountain is shielded by glass. Willy Wonka would be proud.
Sewer Opening Art
The streets in Sao Paulo would still be blank if it weren’t for a few enterprising young artists. The group was busy painting the sewer openings of Sao Paulo for at least a year. The group did an amazing job, no doubt the city looks much better.
