Very creative ads. I think they did a great job with these ads, they certainly got the message across. Advertisers should really make ads like these, because now most of the ads just don’t make sense. Personally I found the ads about gluttony very powerful and i think it’ll make people think about their lives.
500 Years of Art: Women Faces
An amazing video, that shows women faces from different paintings. In this video you can see how the beauty standards changed through the years, look at the headgear, hair styles and hair color. However I saw little change in the faces themselves.
Cool Cell Phones
An amazing Sony Ericsson CyberShot concept phone. Slim as a credit card with a 3.2 megapixel camera, sleek slider design, and OLED touch sensitive keypad. A pitty we won’t see it anytime soon. The problem is that they can’t put a 3.2 megapixel camera in such a sleek phone at the moment.
Nestle Chocolate Museum
This is a news Nestle Chocolate Museum in Mexico City designed by Rojkind Arquitectos in origami style. When things of a chocolate museums an image of a house in the shape of a chocolate bar pops into mind, this museum is in the shape of origami and looks great. The museum displays Nestle’s chocolate products and now is welcoming visitors. It took 75 days to design and build.
X-Ray Art
X-Ray art is not something new, in fact it has a rich history. Photography, is basically the act of drawing with photons. The idea was for two-dimensional artists make images by directly imprinting images with exposure to light. In 1895 Wilhelm Konrad Roentgen discovered how to use x-ray to see through solid objects. Scientists who had access to X-ray mashines made X-ray images for artistic purposes and occasionally sold them as “office art”. This is a collection of photographs done by a dutch artist Albert Koetsier.
China 2008 Olympic Stadium Designs
Next year, in August 2008 the XXIX Olympiad will begin from August 8, 2008 to August 24, 2008 with the opening ceremony to take place at 8 p.m. on August 8, 2008 It will be 08-08-08-08; In Chinese culture the number 8 is associated with prosperity. Here are the designs for the 2008 Olympic stadium .

This is the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the bird’s nest, it will be the main track and field stadium for the 2008 Summer Olympics and will be host to the Opening and Closing ceremonies. It will seat 100.000 spectators during the Olympics in August 2008. After the games the number will be reduced to 80.000. The stadium is 330 metres long by 220 metres wide, and is 69.2 metres tall.
