Hotel Everland is a project by two architects Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann, which are famous for their beautiful installation works.
The hotel has just one room with a luxurious bath, double bed and a lounge. This tiny hotel embodies all hotels dream: it looks gorgeous, it is interesting to stay in, it is comfortable and, being placed high, always has amazing views!
First this hotel was exposed in Switzerland in 2002. Then it was placed on top of a building near Neuenburger Lake. Since June 2006 up to August 2007 Hotel Everland is staying on the roof of Modern Art Gallery in Leipzig, where everyone can observe it and even book a night.
In September 2007 the hotel will be taken to Paris for a year, where it will be placed on the roof of Tokyo Palace, still functioning as a hotel. Great news - there it will be facing the Eiffel Tower, so if you are planning to visit France, you know where to stay!
A genius advertising move was invented by ad agency BBDO: new look of to-go coffee cups is both fun and promotion.
Bottom of the cup has an image of snow white teeth, thus creating an impression that teeth are placed under magnifying glass and they owe such whiteness to Wrigley’s Extra Smile chewing gum. It also promotes Starbucks coffee and looks hilarious.
As a result, all Starbucks clients in Germany are satisfied both with the cups, coffee and chewing gum. Nice!
Another smart move of advertisement on cups is placing a woman’s profile on the side of a cup - plastic surgery advertisement. Created by DDB, Canada.
And we bet there’s much more room for imagination and witty cup advertisements, so come on!
In case you are illiterate, there’s finally a book, which doesn’t have words in it. It has.. grass!
Yes, the pressbook was bound with a cover made of special paper containing seeds. In a few weeks, seeds start to grow and in the end, you get this lovely piece of reading - some space for imagination.

We once had an article on world’s most expensive phone. These might not be as expensive (if you can say so about 350 000 $), but certainly most impressive.
The first two from the series are Signature Python and Signature Cobra handsets that feature a unique diamond studded cobra or python design on top of the golden Signature phone. Besides this, as a regular Vertu phone, it is produced either of gold or platinum and encrypted with several diamond layers.
If we speak about limited editions, here’s the limited of the limited - Signature Cobra with two blue sapphire eyes will be available in 8 pieces worldwide, as for Python - you have a chance to buy one of 26.
Less expensive phones ranged 50 000 euros can be checked on www.vertu.com
This year Lalique has produced another limited edition bottle of fragrance for men. This crystal bottle called “Louxor de Lalique” is inspired by Art Deco vase Jaffa, designed by Rene Lalique in 1931. Each bottle has hand-paintings on it, making it completely unique. The scent reminds mostly of bergamot, mandarin, lavender and juniper berries.
Exquisite.
