Remember those funny key-rings you could squeeze and the liquid inside moved from one side to another? Fancy a floor like that?
Now this is possible with B.lab – this design laboratory, which creates alternative architectural materials, has invented something they call LIVING.
A living surface allows with pressure to play with the bubbles on the underlying colors. The pressure changes the intensity of colors and causes transformation of the surface.
Walking on the Living floor is like walking on a beach – movement underneath is created and it feels soft and looks funny.
While imagining this, take a look at the pictures!

First of all, there is latest nightclub in Madrid, Spain designed by Tomas Alia. This futuristic looking project is a corridor-like, subterranean space, divided by columns. An LED lighting system drenches the dance floor, a wavy wall and even the toilets in different colors in time with the music.

Then there is Gold restaurant, launched by Dolce&Gabanna. The restaurant is located in Milan, Italy and has an entirely gold interior. First-rate wine selection, exquisite Italian cuisine and many celebrities like Kylie Minogue, Paris Hilton, Tiziano Ferro, Barbara Berlusconi and many others complete the interior.
Not much of the common mortals are ever likely to get either in Tomas Alia’s nightclub or Dolce&Gabanna’s Gold restaurant, but still we are allowed to watch!
