Superiority and its traces

There is a story that comrade Stalin wanted to have a new army plane with superior characteristics. He called on his main engineer and explained his needs. On this the engineer protested that, according to secret services, Americans would need a year to build such a plane. Stalin said: ‘I don’t understand, comrade Ivanov, are you an American?’. The rumors are that the army plane was constructed in two months indeed.
Yes, Stalin was a great man and he wanted to make a 8th Wonder of the World out of Moscow. Some of his tremendous designs can be seen in this post - and they really are stunning! Had they been constructed, perhaps Moscow were the capital of Earth.






Stalin’s plans, though, were stopped by the WW2, and the second block of pictures shows what has actually been built during the Soviet times. This psychotic architecture style is called constructivism and is very common to Soviet cities.
